Next generation of green leaders meet at UNEP youth conference (LINK)

COUNTER THE CONTRARIANS!

Here is a really important suggestion for concrete action - learn and use educational material to  "Counter the Contrarians". This will be useful in helping to move forward for climate action by countering misleading disinformation generally put out by right-wing media and supported by the fossil fuel industry. Some contrarians assert that there is no global warming ("it's a myth"). Other contrarians say that there is global warming, but humans are not causing it. Still others contend that there is human-caused global warming, but it is beneficial. Finally others assert that while human-caused global warming exists and is bad, it's too expensive to try to stop it. These people are wrong, they're holding up progress on action on global warming, and they can be loud and aggressive.

Let's just put the loud and aggressive contrarian approach this way:

Who's the cool guy in the photo? It's the Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. He inaugurated the outdoor exhibition '100 Places to Remember Before they Disappear' at Copenhagen's central square, Kongens Nytorv. Among the speakers were Danish Climate Minister and EU Climate Commissioner to-be.
